The company has introduced advertisements, which are present around the nook and cranny of the user interface. Whether be it installing application, browsing the internet or listening to music using the company-owned application, users are spammed with ads. The major culprit here is the File Manager, Mi Security, Mi Music, Downloads and browser. Although, the company has revealed that future versions of MIUI will not come with ads, what about the current versions. Since the company will not disable it, you can do it. To start with, one needs to disable msa, which is one of the major causes of the whole ads in the MIUI. And the company has tried to ensure that you are not able to disable this service. Disabling msa is not an easy task as it takes two to three attempts when you press the Revoke button. Furthermore, you cannot disable this option if the phone is not connected to the internet. Once you ensure this, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Authorization & revocation > and set msa to Off.
Wait for 10 second before one can tap Revoke. Tap on Revoke button, though you will see error first time. You can retry the above-mentioned a few times until you succeed.
If this doesn’t work, you can go to Settings > Apps > msa > Restrict data usage

How to disable ads on File Manager:
Open the application. Tap on Hamburger menu and tap on Settings
Go to About section and go-to option that reads disable ‘Recommendations’.
Disable the tab so that you will not get ads on this app.
How to disable ads on Mi Security app:
Open Mi Security application and go to the Settings option.
There you will find ‘Receive recommendations’ option. Disable it.
Now go to Cleaner section in the setting menu and disable the same option.
How to disable ads on Mi Music:
Open the Mi Music App and go to Settings. Tap on Advanced settings
There you will find the option of ‘Receive Recommendations’. Disable the toggle.
How to disable ads on Downloads:
Open the Downloads app and go to Settings.
Disable the ‘Show recommended content’ tab.
How to disable ads on Mi Browser:
To disable ads on Mi Browser, open the app and go to Settings.
Open Privacy & Security option.
There you will find personalised service. Disable the toggle.
