Here’s some bad news for all Lenovo Vibe X3 owners who were waiting for VoLTE update in their smartphones. The smartphone will not get any VoLTE update in future. This confirmation comes straight from Lenovo’s official twitter handle.
While replying to a user C4ETech @C4ETech on twitter, Lenovo @lenovo has revealed that Lenovo Vibe X3 will not get an update with VoLTE. The tweet reads “@C4ETech Hi! This may be disappointing but the Vibe X3 will not get an update with the VoLTE. Zoi_Lenovo”. You can see the screenshot of their conversation below.
Lenovo has earlier rolled out 4G VoLTE update in its smartphones like Vibe K5, K5 Plus, K4 Note and K5 Note last year.
Lenovo Vibe X3 (32GB) smartphone was launched in India in January last year for Rs 19,999. Currently, the smartphone retails at 13,500 on Amazon India.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 (32 GB) has a 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa core processor, along with Adreno 418 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera, dual SIM (one slot can hold a micro SD card too), 128 GB micro SD card slot and 4G connectivity.
The Vibe X3 (32 GB) has a 21 megapixel rear camera that comes with Sony IMX230 sensor, phase detection auto focus feature, Dual LED CCT flash light and ability to record 4K videos. The X3 has an 8 megapixel front camera. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is backed up by a 3500 mAh (Li-Polymer) battery. Further, the smartphone offers WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), WiFi hotspot, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Gravitation, Proximity, Light sensor, E-Compass, and Gyro sensor. The handset measures 154.0 x 76.5 x 9.3 mm to 3.4 mm and weighs 175 grams.
