Asus has loaded the tablet with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Asus Fonepad 7 has 2 megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. Fonepad 7 has a 3950 mAh capacity battery that promises about 30 hours worth of 3G network talk time and 10 hours of overall battery run time. Besides, the tablet has Bluetooth 4.0 and supports WiFi for faster mobile internet experience.

Under the chassis, this tablet has a quad-core, 1.3 GHz MediaTek MTK 8382M mobile chipset which is paired with 1 GB RAM. The tablet packs 8 GB storage and has a memory card slot that can hold up to a 32 GB micro SD card.

It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and there is no word on the Android 4.4 KitKat. At the back, the tablet has 2 megapixel camera and in the front is a 0.3 megapixel camera for video calls. Measuring 9.2 mm thick, the tablet weighs 285 grams including the metal body and battery. DigiFlip Pro XT 712 is powered by a quad core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT8382 mobile processor and 1 GB RAM.

For storage, it has 16 GB internal memory and an expandable storage slot that can accommodate a micro SD card of up to 32 GB. The tablet runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and offers dual SIM slots with 3G connectivity as well as voice calling. Besides, it has WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity. Digiflip Pro XT 712 has a 5 megapixel camera and an LED flash in its rear panel while a 2 megapixel camera is in its front. The rear camera can capture full HD videos.
