Redmi 8A  bearing 5000mAh battery launched in India in the month of September. The Redmi 8A comes in two different variants to choose from - 2GB+32GB and 3GB+32GB priced at Rs 6,499 and Rs 6,999 respectively. The phone is available in three different colours- Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Sunset Red. It features a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520 × 720 pixels) drop notch display with fifth-generation Corning Gorilla Glass and comes with splash resistant nano-coating as well.

Redmi 8A

The Redmi 8A comes equipped with 2.0GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 439 processor and comes loaded with 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone also comes with an option to expand the storage of up to 512GB via microSD card. For the optics, it has 12-megapixel AI rear camera featuring Sony IMX363 sensor with an LED flash and an 8-megapixel AI selfie sensor on the front.

The phone runs on Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10. Further, the phone lacks the fingerprint sensor, which is one of the drawbacks. However, it supports AI face unlock feature for security. Redmi 8 smartphone was launched in India last month and comes in two variants - the 3GB + 32GB  is priced at Rs 7,999, while the 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 8,999. It has a 6.22-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass dot-notch (1520 x 720 pixels) display and comes loaded with 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 SoC. It has a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels)  2.5D curved glass display, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio and comes equipped with 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone comes with an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card.

Infinix Hot 8

On the camera front, Hot 8 smartphone employs a triple rear camera setup with 13-megapixel as a primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a low light sensor. In the front, it has an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies along with a front flash. The phone runs on  Android 9.0 Pie based on XOS 5.0 and has the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. For the optics, Realme 5 comes equipped with quad rear camera setup with the combination of 12MP as a primary sensor with PDAF, f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The device comes loaded with good 5000mAh battery with 18W dual-engine fast charging support and runs on Android 9.0 Pie, which is based on FunTouch OS 9.1. The U10 smartphone features a 6.35-inch HD+ (1544 x 720 pixels) display with 89 per cent screen-to-body-ratio and comes powered by a 2.0Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor along with Adreno 610 GPU.
