The iPhone 16 Plus sports a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel. It supports HDR, TruTone, and 1600 nits of peak HDR brightness with 2000 nits peak outdoor brightness. It has a Dynamic Island along with Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. Under the hood, the device is powered by the company’s A18 chipset.
The iPhone 16 Plus has dual cameras including a 48-megapixel f/1.6 primary camera and a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra wide camera with autofocus. There is a 12MP TrueDepth camera on the front with an f/1.9 lens. You also get 3D facial recognition via another sensor. The iPhone 16 Plus packs a battery that gives up to 27 hours of video playback. It comes with fast wired charging and 25W wireless charging support via MagSafe chargers.
This iPhone has Bluetooth 5.3, Wi‑Fi 7 with 2×2 MIMO, 2nd Gen Ultra Wideband chip for spatial awareness and NFC with reader mode. Additionally, it comes with stereo speakers as well and a USB-C port for charging, along with IP68 water resistance. The iPhone 16 Plus runs on iOS 18 with support for Apple Intelligence.
