Check out the impressive Mi 3 smartphone - the first handset of Xiaomi to be announced for India.
The Mi 3 features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution, thus offering pixel density of 441 pixels per inch.
The Mi 3 measures 144 x 73.6 x 8.1 mm and weighs 145 grams.
It is powered by quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile chipset â€“ a powerful chipset often found in handsets priced above Rs 30,000. It has also 2 GB RAM which is more than enough for handling graphics intensive tasks.
This handset has 16 GB on-board storage but has no expandable memory slot. Thankfully, it comes with USB on the go feature; thus you can use pen drives for additional storage.
The Mi 3 has a 13 megapixel rear camera comprising of Sony Exmor RS sensor with dual LED flash while in its front lies a 2 megapixel camera.
The Mi 3 also has dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, and NFC. It has a mini SIM slot and it supports 3G connectivity (up to 42 Mbps speed).
Mi 3 uses GPS with A-GPS as well as GLONASS for navigation.
The Mi 3 has a massive 3050 mAh battery which should comfortably power this 5 inch for well beyond a day
The Mi 3 is priced at Rs 13,999 and will go on sale on July 22. The device is available only via Flipkart and you can pre-order the phone from the e-retailer's website to get the device at the earliest.
