1
Close Up

This was captured in good natural lighting and needless to say, the Xperia Z2 did a marvelous job in capturing colours as well as to focus on the intended subject well.

2
Normal Shot

Don’t get fooled by this picture, this was taken in hot and bright outdoors in Delhi where you can’t even go out without shades but Xperia Z2 had no problem whatsoever. It didn’t flooded the picture with all those lights and as you can see, the sky is blue.

3
Defocus Mode

Sony Xperia Z2 comes with defocus mode where you can blur the area surrounding the subject and Xperia Z2 has done that quite well. Note that you can choose the amount of blurring. Here we have applied the default blurring. You can decrease as well as increase it.

Landscape

This was capture in auto setting where the phone itself choose the landscape mode. In auto mode, you cannot choose the but if you choose the manual option, you can take pictures in full resolution, i.e. 20 megapixel.

5
Without Flash

Though good in good lighting, the Xperia Z2 is not all that great in low lighting. Note that we took this picture in dim light and not in a dark room. Ofcourse we didn’t use its flash lights.

6
With Flash

Here we used the single flash light of Xperia Z2 but the result is not that great. You will know why if you check these images.

7
Under Water

As you know, Xperia Z2 can click images under water and this is a proof of that. It didn’t had any issues while capturing Buddha immersed in a bucket of water. Ofcourse, the Xperia Z2 too was dipped in the water with all ports closed.

8
Front camera

The Sony Xperia Z2 comes with a 2.2 front camera but it is not that great for selfies and this grainy picture tells you why.

9
