Realme X Camera Review: Low light photography is the weak link

Realme X has introduced its latest smartphone, the Realme X, in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 17,999 for the 4GB RAM variant, while the 8GB RAM option is priced at Rs 19,999. The company claims that the smartphone comes loaded with some exceptional camera hardware. So, does it stands bold on the company's claims? Let's find out.

Starting with the first image, the colours came out to be pretty accurate to the source. The phone is able to handle the glare effectively in this photo.

Once again, the camera does a really good job of capturing the details in this photo. The colour of the sky is close to the source and the colours are quite punchy in nature. Overall, the phone has done a good job in this image.

The low light performance of the device is not that great. The photo came out to be a bit blurry in nature and when you zoom in, you can clearly see noises and grains. The camera was not able to capture details quite effectively.

The photo came out to be quite average. Although, the colours were close to the source, though detailing was not that great in this image. Furthermore, there are a noticeable amount of noise and grains present in this photo.

The front camera does a better job in low light conditions. The photo came out to be pretty decent in nature and the colour of the T-shirt was close to the source. Furthermore, beautification works fine in low light condition as well.

The phone was able to capture the average image in ultra low light condition. The detailing is not that great and one can notice some noises, though still, it manages to perform better than the rear camera.

The photo came out to be decent as well. The phone was able to capture the colours quite effectively, though the details were not that great when you zoom it. Furthermore, the colour of the wall is slightly oversaturated in nature.

The was able to focus the subject quickly and the results were a good job as well. The colours of the leaves are close to the source and the details are captured pretty well in this image.

In this shot, we faced some difficulties in focusing on the subject. The phone took a noticeable amount of time to lock focus in this image. Also, if you closely monitor than the buds are out of focus in nature. However, apart from this, the phone did a good job in blurring out the background.

The Nightscape mode does a good job in adding some light to the subject. However, the addition looks a bit more artificial in nature. Furthermore, the detailing is slightly better than the normal mode.

The Realme X once again does a quite impressive job in capturing this image. The colour of the building and the trees are close to the source and the image came out to be crisp with the right amount of contrast and brightness.

The phone captured the right amount of details in this image, though the colours seem to be a bit dull in nature. But apart from this, the selfie came out to be pretty decent in nature.
