Lenovo A7000, which was launched today, is the first smartphone to feature the Dolby Atmos technology.
The successor to the A6000, the Lenovo A7000 is likely to be priced at about Rs 10,000.
It has a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The A7000 measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 8 mm, and weighs 140 grams.
The 2900 mAh battery of the Lenovo A7000 can provide up to 264 hours of standby or 16 hours of talk time, both on 3G.
The A7000 has an octa-core 1.5 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal memory. With a microSD card, you can add another 32 GB.
The Lenovo A7000 runs on Android Lollipop with Lenovo's own UI. For connectivity, the A7000 has dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio.
The primary camera is an 8 megapixel unit with auto-focus, flash, geo-tagging, face detection, and video recording, while the front has a 5 megapixel unit.
This is the first phone to have the Dolby Atmos technology.
