The Gionee M2017 comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD ( 2560 x 1440 pixels) display with sapphire glass protection.
The major selling point of the device is the mammoth 7000mAh battery capacity. Interestingly, instead of going with a big 7000mAh battery module, the M2017 carries two 3500mAh batteries, which is also supported with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology and dual fast charging chip.
The company promises that the device can deliver up to 25 hours of continuous video playback and 915.42 hours of standby.
The smartphone is backed by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU.
On top of this, the Gionee M2017 is backed by a whopping 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the limited edition comes with a 256GB storage, with both of them being non-expandable.
The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s Amigo OS 3.5 running on top of it.
On the camera front, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors with LED flash, while on the front there is an 8-megapixel shooter.
The device will be available in gold and black colour options and comes with a price tag of 6,999 yuan (approx. Rs 68,240) for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
