ZTE has announced its new smartphone in the US, which is named as ZTE Tempo. The smartphone is priced at $69.99 and is available exclusively through Boost Mobile. The ZTE Tempo is now already available at the Sprint-owned prepaid carrier.
The ZTE Tempo features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display and is fueled by a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB internal storage, which is further expandable to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2200 mAh battery which claims to offer a Talk time up to 14 hours.
On the camera front, the ZTE Tempo has a 5-megapixel snapper with LED Flash on the back, and a 2-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Further, the smartphone offers dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a Micro USB port.
There is no information as of now about its availability in other markets including India.
Earlier, ZTE had announced ZTE Warp 7 which is priced at $99.99 and is available exclusively through Boost Mobile. ZTE Warp 7 features a 5.5-inch (720×1280 pixel) Gorilla Glass display. It comes with the 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which is paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box and is backed by a 3080 mAh battery with Quick Charge technology.
The ZTE Warp 7 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be beefed upto 64GB via a micro SD card. The phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The rear is camera capable of recording 1080p videos. Besides, the phone offers 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/AGPS and micro USB port.
