ZTE, which today announced the launch of Grand SII smartphone in India, has also showcased its Nubia Z7 Mini that comes with eye-catching features. ZTE has also recently told The Mobile Indian that it will bring the Nubia Z9 for about Rs 15,000.
The ZTE Nubia Z7 Mini has a 5 inch touchscreen with full HD resolution. This 8.2 mm thick handset weighs 143 grams with its 2300 mAh battery. This Android 4.4.2 based smartphone has the backing of the powerful Snapdragon 801 chipset comprising 2 GHz quad core processor, Adreno 330 GPU, and 2 GB RAM.
The ZTE Nubia Z7 Mini has 16 GB internal storage and its expandable storage slot can hold a micro SD card of up to 64 GB. Its 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera has the backing of an LED flash and has features like face detection, panorama, and HDR but there is no mention of optical image stabilisation. Its 5 megapixel front camera is said to be able of capturing full HD videos at 30 frames per second.
The dual SIM based ZTE Nubia Z7 Mini offers 4G connectivity (not sure whether it is compatible with Indian LTE networks or not). Besides, the handset has dual Band WiFi, DLNA, WiFi Direct, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, and micro USB 2.0 port. It has FM radio and GPS with GLONASS support too.
Looking at its specification, one can assume that the phone will be priced in the mid-range, probably about Rs 30,000. It though is available from Deals Prime, a China based e-retailer, for Rs 17,589. Note that ZTE also has Nubia Z7 and Nubia Z7 Max smartphones in its kitty. It had in October this year announced to bring Nubia Z7 Max to India by October this year.
Meanwhile, ZTE has announced the Grand SII smartphone for India which comes with Snapdragon 800 (MSM8674) processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 32 GB micro SD card slot, 5.5 inch full HD display, 13 megapixel rear auto focus camera, 5 megapixel fixed focus front camera, and a 2500 mAh battery.
