ZTE N919D Android smartphone with 8 MP camera launched in India for Rs 6,999

With older Android Jelly Bean OS, meager 4 GB internal memory, and poor display resolution, the ZTE N919D may not be able to create any ripple in the market.

ZTE today announced ZTE N919D for the Indian market and the smartphone will be available exclusively on ebay.in for Rs 6,999. Furthermore, Reliance Communication subscribers, both existing and new ones, will get the benefit of free unlimited data for three months with the ZTE N919D.
ZTE N919D has a 5 inch touch screen display but with only 480×854 pixels resolution. It has a decent 1.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and even 1 GB RAM but the phone has the older Android Jelly Bean operating system and offers paltry 4 GB of inbuilt storage. Thankfully, there is an expandable storage slot that can accommodate a 32 GB micro SD card.

Also the ZTE N919D has a decent 2500 mAh which claims to offer 9.5 hours of talktime. The handset has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a VGA snapper in the front for video chatting. The dual SIM N919D supports 3G networks and has WiFi, Bluetooth and a micro USB port for connectivity. This 165.5 grams weighing smartphone also has FM radio.
