Micromax’s Yu has revealed that its upcoming smartphone, the Yutopia, will have Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution. The company revealed this in its latest teaser which was issued today.
“Never settle for 1080p,†read the teaser which shows a phone with the text written inside. The image clearly looks like that of a OnePlus smartphone and ofcourse by using the tag line of OnePlus, “Never Settleâ€, Yu has made it amply clear who it is referring to.
Notwithstanding the intended pun, with QHD resolution, the Yu Yutopia would become the first phone of an Indian company to offer such high resolution.
Yu also promotes it as the “Real Beast†and has termed it as the most powerful phone in the world.
As per earlier leaks, the Yu Yutopia will come with Android 5.1.1 operating system, 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 processor, huge 4 GB RAM, 21 Megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel front camera, dual SIM, 5.2 inch display and micro SD card support.
Till date, Yu has only launched phones under Rs 10,000 that includes Yu Yureaka, Yuphoria, Yureka Plus and Yunique.
