Xolo is all set to launch its new smartphone in India this week, which is named as Xolo Era 2X. Company has started sending out media invites for an event, which is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on January 5, at 3:30 PM onwards. The smartphone will come with Tap to unlock feature via Fingerprint scanner. Further, it will be exclusively available through Flipkart starting 9th January.
As of now company has revealed only this much information on the its upcoming Era 2X smartphone.
The Xolo Era 2X smartphone could be a successor of Era 1X smartphone, which was launched in India last year at Rs 4,999.
To re-collect, the Xolo Era 1X has a 5-inch IPS display with 1280Ã—720 pixels (HD) resolution. A 1.3 GHz quad-core (SC9832A) processor along with 1GB of RAM runs this smartphone that has 8GB of internal storage and an expandable storage slot for up to a 32GB micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The Era 1X gets its power from a 2500 mAh removable Li-Po battery, which claims to offer up-to 22 hours of talk time and up-to 185 hours of standby time.
The Era 1X has an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with 5P Largan Lens and LED Flash. A 5-megapixel camera with Dual LED Flash is in its front for selfies and video calling. It has various camera features that include Live Photos, Beauty Mode, Burst Mode, Audio Note, Time- Lapse, and Slo-Motion. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, a micro USB port, Proximity, Ambient Light Sensor, Smart Screenshot, Smart Awake, Assistant, Cast screen, LED flash for call and Flip to mute alarms and calls. The handset measures 145.5*72*8.6 mm.
