Xioami Mi 6 not to feature 3.5mm headphone jack?

The smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with Adreno 540 GPU.

If the latest round of leaks is to be believed, the much awaited Xioami’s Mi 6 Will not be featuring the 3.5mm headphone jack. A per a report of GizmoChina, the Mi 6 is said to come without a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Instead, the company is planning to launch a pair of Bluetooth earbuds along with the smartphone.

The leak comes from China’s microblogging website, Weibo which is also accompanied by the screenshots of Xiaomi’s official website. The screenshots reveal a Xiaomi Bluetooth headset X which is priced at 699 Yuan (approximately Rs 6,608). It is also to be noted that Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus also skipped 3.5mm headphone jack and came with lightning port earphones. However, the company currently sells its Bluetooth enabled Air Pods separately at $150 in the US. Nevertheless, we would recommend you to take this listing with a pinch of salt as a mere bluetooth headphone listing is not enough to prove the omission of headphone jack from the device. Xiaomi might be planning to introduce a Bluetooth enabled pair of earphones separately.
