Xiaomi upcoming Desh ka Smartphone to be a Flipkart exclusive

The famous e-commerce website is running a teaser hinting the availability of the device on the platform.

Xiaomi is all set to launch a new Redmi smartphone in India on November 30. Now ahead of the launch, it has been confirmed that the new smartphone will be launched exclusively on Flipkart. The famous e-commerce website is running a teaser hinting the availability of the device on the platform. Redmi India also has been teasing on its official Twitter handle for the past few days with #DeshKaSmartphone hashtag regarding its upcoming launch.

Xiaomi has however not revealed the name of the smartphone to be announced but we expect the Xiaomi Redmi 5A smartphone might be launched in the country. To recall, Xiaomi Redmi 5A smartphone was launched in China last month at 599 Yuan which is approximately Rs 5,884.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A features 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 296ppi and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD. The Redmi 5A gets its strength from decent 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat operating system wrapped under MIUI 9.

On the camera front, the Redmi 5A sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, burst mode, panorama mode, HDR mode, and more. on its back, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies with f/2.0 aperture lens. Besides the smartphone offers hybrid dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a micro USB port. The handset measures 140.4 x 70.1 mm x 8.35 mm and weighs 137g.
