If reports are to be believed then Xiaomi might unveil a ‘white’ ceramic version of its bezel-less Mi Mix during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 starting January 5. The company recently put up a teaser on its official twitter handle which showcased a single word “WBHLIATCEK” written on it. If we inspect further, then it reveals WHITE mixed with BLACK which is expected to be meant for White colour variant of the Xiaomi Mi Mix.
“Just 4 days to our 2017 CES Mi Product Launch, it’s going to be an exciting Mix of tech breakthroughs! What do you think we’ll be announcing?” reads Mi’s tweet. However, the teaser does not reveal anything directly but with “an exciting Mix of tech breakthroughs” line, one can make out that Xiaomi would unveil the Mi Mix at the CES event. 
To recall, Xiaomi had launched the smartphone in China last year, but it was only available in black colour variant. Back in November 2016, few pictures of White variant of Mi Mix have also surfaced online which showed that the new version boasts a ceramic body similar to the one in present black colour variant. The Xiaomi Mi Mix white variant was also recently spotted at a Chinese online store though it was not up for sale.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix comes in two variants – 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. The 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage is priced at 3499 Yuan or approximately Rs 34,512 while the 6GB variant with 256GB internal storage will cost you 3999 Yuan or approximately Rs 39,442.
Designed by French designer Philippe Starck, the 6GB variant of Xiaomi Mi Mix boasts a ceramic body and comes with a 6.4-inch (2040 x 1080) bezel-less display with a 91.3 percent screen to body ratio. Moreover, it comes with 18k carat gold finish on the camera lens and a fingerprint sensor on the back. On the inside, It is powered by 2.35 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 64-bit Processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating with MIUI 8 and has a 4400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix offers a 16-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording and a 5-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C. The handset measures 158.8 x 81.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 209 grams.
