Xiaomi shipped 70 million smartphones so far in 2017

The company CEO Lei Jun said to achieve the 100 billion Yuan sales target in the first 10 months of 2017, November and December to go.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has shipped over 70 million smartphones in the first 10 months of this year. The brand has now set the target to ship 100 million handsets in 2018.

During the launch of Xiaomi’s Mi Home store in Shenzhen, China, the company CEO Lei Jun said to achieve the 100 billion-yuan-sales target for the whole year.However, this year company is expected to break its own record by ship 90 million devices, especially with the 11/11 festive offer next week. The sale is on November 11 in China, to celebrate the Chinese Single’s Day.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi sold 10 million units of the smartphones in the month of September alone. Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President and Indian Head, Xiaomi, said, “Happy to share that Xiaomi shipped 10 million plus smartphones in September. Thank you everyone for your support in this incredible journey!”


And recently Donovan Sung, Global Spokesperson, Xiaomi, posted on his twitter handle to ship 10 million units in themonth of October. “Great news! #Xiaomi’s smartphone shipments in October surpassed 10M units, for the second month in a row. Onward and upward!”
