Xiaomi Redmi Y2 next sale to be held on June 19

The Xiaomi Redmi Y2 comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 for the 3GB and 32GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option is priced at Rs 12,999.

After its first sale yesterday, Xiaomi has now announced that the next sale of its Redmi Y2 will be held on 19th June. The smartphone was recently in launched India starting at Rs 9,999. Incase you missed out to buy the smartphone in the sale yesterday, you can try your luck next week then. The Redmi Y2 will be available for sale at 12 PM via Amazon India and mi.com on June 19.

The Xiaomi Redmi Y2 comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 for the 3GB and 32GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option is priced at Rs 12,999.

The phone will be available in Gray, Rose gold, Champagne Gold and Platinum Silver colour options. With the purchase,Airtel consumers can avail Rs 1,800 instant cashback offer with up to240GB of free data and Rs 500 instant discount on ICICI Bank debit and credit cards.

The Xiaomi Redmi Y2 features 5.99-inch display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9.The display comes with 450nits brightness, 10000:1 contrast ratio and 70.8 per cent NTSC colour gamut. It ispowered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage, and expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD. The Redmi Y2 gets its strength from decent 3,080 mAh battery and runs on 8.1 Oreo operating system wrapped under MIUI 9. There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.

On the camera front, the Redmi Y2 sports a dual rear camera of 12-megapixel primary camera with PDAF, Flash and 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Besides the smartphone offers dual SIM, with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), 4.2, GPS, and a port. The handset measures 160.73 x 77.26 mm x 8.1 mm and weighs 170g.
