The Xiaomi Redmi Y2 features 5.99-inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9.The display comes with 450nits brightness, 10000:1 contrast ratio and 70.8 per cent NTSC colour gamut. It ispowered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage, and expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD. The Redmi Y2 gets its strength from decent 3,080 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system wrapped under MIUI 9. There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
On the camera front, the Redmi Y2 sports a dual rear camera of 12-megapixel primary camera with PDAF, LED Flash and 5-megapixel secondary camera for AI portrait shots.
