Xiaomi today announced its Redmi Note Prime for the Indian market. The smartphone will be available on Amazon.in for Rs 8,499 from tomorrow. As per Xiaomi, the Redmi Note Prime is fully made in India and is the second Mi phone after Redmi 2 Prime to be manufactured at its Sri City plant in Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with Foxconn Technology Group.
Redmi Note Prime is an enhanced version of Redmi Note 4G with dual SIM slots, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable to 32GB) and a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor. Redmi Note Prime offers a 5.5 inch HD IPS display, 3100mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery, 13 megapixel f/2.4 rear camera and a 5 megapixel f/2.2 front-facing camera.
Other than that, the Redmi Note Prime offers Bluetooth 4.0 LE, dual band WiFi, MIUI 7, WiFi Direct, USB on the go feature, and dual microphone for noise cancellation.
