Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro to be reportedly priced at starting around Rs 16,500

The upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has now been subjected to its first ever major leak. The price has been leaked now along with few other details about memory configurations.

Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 5 Pro in India in February this year. Now seems like the company is working on its successor – Redmi Note 6 Pro. Popular leakster Roland Quandt on its official Twitter handle has claimed that “Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is coming soon”. Alongside he has also mentioned the price of Redmi Note 6 Pro.

Quandt states that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be priced between 200 – 250 euros which is approx. Rs 16,500 – Rs 21,000. It will come in Gold, Blue or Black colours and it will be sold in 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage models in Europe. He also claimed that more colour variants might be launched outside the European market.

It is expected that Xiaomi might bring a 6GB model of the phone for other markets including India. Apart from these details, no features or specifications of the Redmi Note 6 Pro have been revealed by the tipster.

As per reports, the Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone may have a 5.45-inch FHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is speculated to be powered by Snapdragon 670 or 660 SoC. On the software front, it can run on 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 on top.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro in India starts at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM option, while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 16,999. To recap the specs of the Redmi Note 5 Pro, it sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has a dual rear camera setup of 12MP and 5MP, and a 20MP front camera, and 4000mah battery. It runs on MIUI 9.5 based Android 8.1 Oreo.
