The upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone has already been spotted in various leaks before and the device is expected to launch pretty soon. Earlier this week, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 was spotted on the listing of JD.com, and now the device is currently listed on OppoMart for $199 which is approximately Rs 12,901.
The listing on the OppoMart was spotted by GizmoChina and it reveals all the specifications of the upcoming smartphone. However, it is important to note that Xiaomi has not confirmed anything at the moment, so we suggest you take this report with a grain of salt.
As per Oppomart listing, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a 5.99-inch Full HD (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. A 2.0GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor runs the phone with the help of 3GB/4GB RAM. It offers 32GB/64GB internal storage. This 4G smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with MIUI 9 on top of it and is backed up by a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery which claims to offer up to 72 hours of standby time.
The listing also shows that the smartphone has a 12-megapixel rear camera and on the front, it has a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies. On the connectivity front, both the device supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS and Dual-SIM support. It measures 158.5mm x 75.5mm x 8.05mm and weighs 179 grams.
