Two live images of alleged Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 have surfaced online today on Chinese micro blogging website, Weibo via MyFixGuide. The photos show the front and rear of the purported Redmi Note 5. The images reveal that the Redmi Note 5 will be featuring 18:9 display with a metal unibody design and a dual camera setup on the back.
The leaked image shows the dual rear camera setup at the back of the device which are vertically aligned with the LED flash located at the side of the camera. There is also the fingerprint sensor below the dual cameras and the Mi logo at the back. There are minimum bezels at the top and bottom of the phone.
The source also reveals that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be powered by MediaTek P25 or P30 chipset rather than a Snapdragon SoC. For the camera, the smartphone will boast dual rear camera setup of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors and a front-facing camera of unknown resolution. The smartphone will run Android Nougat based MIUI 9 and it will be backed up by 4000 mAh battery.
