Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 6GB variant launched in China

A 4000mah battery powers the Redmi Note 5 with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and it runs on Android-based MIUI 9 Android 8.1 Oreo.

Xiaomi recently launched Flame Red colour variant of the Redmi Note 5 smartphone in China with 4GB and 64GB internal storage. Now the company has launched a 6GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage of the smartphone in China.

The new variant is priced at 1699 Yuan which is approx. Rs 17,215 and it will go on sale from 27 July. The Flame Red colour variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is priced at 1,399 Yuan which is approx Rs 14,500.

Apart from the memory configuration, the specifications will remain the same. The Redmi Note 5 features a 5.99-inch Full display with a screen of 2160 x 1080 pixels, a colour contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 450-nits brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.

Redmi Note 5 has a 12-megapixel primary lens with 1.4-micron pixel and f/1.9 and 5-megapixel secondary lens. For the front, there is a 13-megapixel camera with artificial intelligence (AI) and HDR for selfies and video calling. A 4000mah battery powers the Redmi Note 5 with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and it runs on Android-based MIUI 9 8.1 Oreo. On the connectivity front, the phone features VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, dual-SIM, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm jack.
