Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 gets a price cut

The Redmi Note 4 is available in two colour options on Amazon- Dark Grey and Matte Black.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone was launched earlier last year in India on both Flipkart and Mi.com. Now the company has announced that smartphone is also available for purchase on Amazon India. The Redmi Note 4 is available in two colour options on Amazon- Dark Grey and Matte Black.

The device was launched at Rs 9,999 for 2GB + 32GB internal storage, Rs 10,999 for 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and Rs 12,999 for 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. But currently, Amazon India has listed only Redmi Note 4 variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Rs 10,999. It means the smartphone has also got a price cut of Rs 2,000.

The availability has been announced by Xiaomi India Director, Manu Kumar Jain on his official twitter handle. His tweet reads “Redmi Note 4 (4GB + 64GB) is now available for an incredible price of Rs. 10,999! Now also available on @amazonIN Get India’s No. 1 selling smartphone across @Flipkart, @amazonIN, and Mi.com”.

As far as specifications Redmi Note 4 are concerned, it comes with a 5.5-inch full (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating and has a 4100 battery. In terms of design, the smartphone features a fingerprint scanner at the back.

For the storage, it comes with 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage variants, all of which are expandable via card. The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 and a 5-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers with VoLTE, 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), with AGS/GLONASS and Type C. The handset measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams.
