After the launch of Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro in India, Xiaomi is working on its Redmi 7 smartphone. The phone has now leaked in a hands-on video showing its design in its full glory. Also, the video has revealed key specifications of the Redmi 7 smartphone.
Vietnamese YouTube channel Dương Dê haspublished the hands-on video of the Redmi 7. As per the video, the Redmi 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 632 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The 14nm Snapdragon 632 has eight Kryo 250 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and an Adreno 506 GPU. The phone is likely to be available in more RAM and storage options, like 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The video shows Redmi 7 in a blue variant. It has a waterdrop notch on the display and bezels on the sides are thin. It has a triple card slot which allows you to use a MicroSD card and two SIM cards at the same time. The rear of the phone shows dual cameras which are aligned vertically with an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner in the middle. The bottom of the Redmi 7 has a micro USB port and at the top, there is an audio jack. Moreover, the video also shows that the handset scored 1,01,949 points on AnTuTu.
As per a recent TENAA listing, the Redmi 7 carries model number M1810F6LE and it features a 6.26-inch HD+ display with 1520 x 720 resolution. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor. The phone will come in three configurations – 2GB RAM with 16GB storage, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. All variants will have support for storage expansion.
For the camera department, the Redmi 7 will feature a dual camera setup with one sensor of 12-megapixel. The listing did not reveal the specification of the secondary rear camera. The phone will have a selfie camera of 8-megapixel. The phone runs Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top. It will have a battery capacity of 3,900mAh and a fingerprint scanner. The phone will 158.65 x 76.43 x 8.9 mm and its weight 180 grams. It will come in black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple, and gray colours.
