A new claim has been made on Weibo about the specs, launch date as well as price of Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphones – Redmi 4 and Mi Note 2. On the popular social networking website in China, a user claimed that the Redmi 4 will be launched on August 25 while Mi Note 2 will be launched on September 5. Further the leakster claimed that the Redmi 4 will cost 699 Yuan or approximately Rs 7,017 while the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be made available in two variants – 2499 Yuan (approximately Rs 25,094) and 2699 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,102).
As per the leaked specs, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 has a 5 inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa core processor. The post further claimed that the phone has a metal body with 3GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage and a 4100 mAh battery with quick charge technology. It has a fingerprint sensor, the post added.
The Xioami Mi Note 2, as per the Weibo posting, has a AMOLED screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 octa core processor. It also has a metal body, a fingerprint scanner in the front, 3600 mAh battery with fast charging feature, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage and a 128 GB micro SD card slot. As per the post it is coming in two variants. The post also said that one of the version has 6 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage and 128 GB micro SD card slot. So probably the other model has 4 GB RAM with 32 GB of internal memory.
