Xiaomi has today launched Xiaomi Poco F1 smartphone in India starting Rs 20,999. The Xiaomi Poco F1 smartphone comes in three variants – 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage at Rs 20,999, 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage at Rs 23,999 and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage at Rs at Rs 28,999 respectively. The smartphone will be available for sale on Flipkart as well as Mi.com starting August 29, 12 PM. It comes inRosso Red, Graphite Black and Steel Blue options.
Xiaomi has also announced Armoured Edition variant at the event with Kevlar back priced at Rs 29,999 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is also Ultra-slim case with matte finish for Rs 399, Armored case with Kevlar finish for Rs 799 and POCO Mobile Skins for Rs 299.
The other variants come with plastic at the back and sides. At this price point, the smartphone compete with the likes of OnePlus 6 and Asus ZenFone 5z. Take a look at their spec to spec comparison below:
Customers who buy Xiaomi Poco F1 using HDFC credit or debit card will get Rs 1,000 discount during the first sale on all the variants of the device. Additionally, Reliance Jio users will get up to Rs 8,000 of benefits, and 6TB of free data.
The Xiaomi Poco F1 features a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a notch at the top. It does have 2246 x 1080 pixel Resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio with 500nits brightness. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor clocked at up to 2.8 GHz powers the device with Adreno 630 GPU backed by LiquidCool technology for heat dissipation. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with MIUI 9.0 on top with POCO launcher and backed up by 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
All the variants will be expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card. For the camera department, it has a dual camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX363 sensor with dual pixel autofocus,with dual LED Flash,1.4μm pixel size and a 5-megapixel secondary Samsung sensor. For the front, the smartphone has a 20-megapixel selfie camera along with support for IR face unlock feature.
There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has various connectivity features including dual-SIM, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS+GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio Jack and a USB Type-C port.
