Xiaomi has today launched it Mi Play smartphone in China. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and is priced at 1,099 Yuan which is approximately Rs 11,000. Xiaomi Mi Play is the company’s first smartphone with waterdrop screen notch.
It comes in Blue, Red colours with gradient finish and Black colour as well. It will be available for pre-orders from December 25 in China. The company is also bundling 10GB data per month for 12 months.
Xiaomi Mi Play sports a 5.84-inch full-HD+display with 1080×2280 pixels Resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will be powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core Helio P35 processor. It features 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage and an expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD.

For the optics, the Mi Play has dual camera setup on the rear sporting a 12-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.25μm Pixel size, PDAF, EIS and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The phone has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi Play is powered by a 3000mAh battery and it runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 10 on top. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. The phone dimensions are 147.76 x 71.89 x 7.8mm and the weight is 150 grams.
