Xiaomi is reportedly working on the next-generation of its flagship device, the Mi MIX 3. Now, it is for the first time we are seeing the renders of the upcoming device, which reveals some key information.
The leaked renders reveal that the smartphone will come loaded with a bezel-less display and the screen-to-body ratio will higher than its predecessors. The render reveals that the phone will have a minimal side as well as top and bottom bezels. And it also reveals that the latest smartphone will come loaded with a pop-up selfie camera similar to what we have seen in Vivo NEX.
The renders further reveal that the smartphone will come loaded with vertically-aligned dual rear cameras at the back. Interestingly, there is no fingerprint sensor present on the back panel, which could mean that the brand will go for an in-display fingerprint scanner, which was introduced in Xiaomi Mi 8.
Being a flagship device, one could expect it to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with some high-end specifications like up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Talking about Xiaomi Mi 8, the camera on the front which hides under the notch at the top is accompanied by a plethora of other sensors which work similarly to a certain Apple device. Yes, that’s right. The Mi 8 will now employ an Infrared lighting sensor alongside an infrared lens that will be coupled with the 20MP lens to bring Face ID-like face unlocking technology. The camera on the Mi 8 will thus be able to unlock your device even in dark environments. The Mi 8 will come with yet another iPhone X feature which will be Xiaomi’s representation of the Apple Animoji.
