With an event set to be held on March 23rd, Xiaomi is just moments away from unveiling its upcoming flagship Mi Mix 2s. The device has popped up in yet another leak as a teaser uploaded recently showcases the AI face unlock feature on the upcoming Xiaomi device.
Weeks after Xiaomi teased the device with a dual rear camera setup at the back, the Mi Mix 2s gets another teaser in disguise of a video which displays how AI Face unlocking will work. The 30-second footage clarifies that the Face Unlock will work irrespective f the change in facial features of an individual, be it one’s hairstyle or the growth of beard. This also means that the Mi Mix 2s will be smart enough to recognize your face and unlock the device even if you’re wearing a wig, your eyeglasses or a hat.
That said, the Mi Mix 2s will also be featuring a fingerprint sensor for traditional security and is expected to sport a 5.99-inch FHD+ display from what we’ve come to know. If rumors are to be believed, the device will be the first of its kind to boast of a 95 percent screen to body ratio and dual rear cameras. The Mi Mix 2s will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 Processor alongside 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage on a curved ceramic body.
