Flipkart has announced that it is holding Big Shopping days sale on its website from December 7 to December 9. Now ahead of the sale, the company has announced that there will be Rs 2,000 discount on Xiaomi M1 during the sale on Flipkart and mi.com. The Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched in September this year for Rs 14,999 and after the price cut, the device will retail at Rs 12,999 during Flipkart Big Shopping Days.
Xiaomi India and Manu Kumar Jain, VP and Managing Director, has confirmed the deal on their respective official twitter handles. Xiaomi India tweet reads “Mi fans! Talking about Xiaomi Mi A1, this is the company’s first Android One smartphone, which is developed in partnership with Google. The phone also comes with Google Assistant. The phone comes with Google Photos free unlimited high-quality storage. This means the photo clicked through Mi camera app, will be saved in automatically on Google Photos in high quality.
The major highlight of the device is the dual rear cameras, which comes with a combination of 12-megapixel sensors. The primary sensor sports a Wide-Angle lens, while the secondary camera offers telephoto lens. The phone support 2x Optical Zoom and 10x digital zoom. Further, it comes with stereoscopic imaging and deep learning algorithm to deliver impressive portrait shots.
The device sports a metallic unibody and features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is just 7mm thin and weighs 168 grams. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor along with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes with dual graphite sheet, which decreases the temperature by 2-degree. On the audio front, it features 10V smart PA for high-quality audio.
On the battery front, it supports 3080mAh battery with USB Type-C port and the company says it has customized a 380V charger for India for power spikes. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back panel and an IR blaster on the top of the device. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB Type-C port and Dual-SIM support.
