In February this year, Xiaomi launched Mi 9 smartphone in China in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. Now the company has announced to launch another variant of Mi 9 in China, which comes with 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. This variant is priced at 3299 Yuan (approximately Rs 33,168) and sale will kick start from August 14 onwards.
As far as specifications are concerned, The Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphone features 6.39-inch (1080 x 2340 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED Display with a waterdrop notch. The display has 600-nit brightness, Sunlight mode 2.0, Reading mode 2.0 and Always-on Display.
The smartphone comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core Processor alongside Adreno 640 GPU. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. For the optics, it has a triple rear camera module with Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x Optical Zoom support. On the front, the phone houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 runs on the Android 9 Pie-based on company’s own custom interface MIUI 10 and gets its juices from a 3,300mAh battery with support for 27W Fast charging and 20W fastest wireless charging. The phone has all the standard connectivity options and measures 155 x 75 x 7.6mm. Xiaomi Mi 9 comes in three colours – Deep Space Grey, Gradient Blue and Gradient Purple.
