Earlier last year, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Limited Edition smartphone was launched in China. Now the company is also set to launch the Hatsune Miku Special Edition of the Xiaomi Mi 6X also which was launched earlier this year. This edition is likely to launch on June 28, as per reports.
Now ahead of the launch, Xiaomi Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Special Edition has now leaked in press renders and pricing. The smartphone is priced at 2,099 Yuan which is approximately Rs 21,700) in China.
The Limited Edition will come with Hatsune Miku icon at the back. The front looks like the regular white finish of the Mi 6X. Xiaomi earlier introduced Hatsune Miku Limited Edition of Redmi Note 4X in partnership with Japanese firm Crypton Future Media. For the unintended, Hatsune Miku is the name of a Vocaloid (a singing voice synthesizer software) featuring a 16-year-old girl with a long twin tail.
The tech specifications of Xiaomi Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Limited Edition are likely to be identical to the existing Mi 6X smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Special Edition smartphone features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor and it will be available in three variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage; 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the device features a dual-camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary lens with f/1.75 aperture and 1.25-micron pixel size, Sony IMX486 sensor along with a secondary 20-megapixel with f/1.75 aperture and 2-micron pixel size, Sony IMX376 sensor. The smartphone comes with AI integration as well that will enhance the photos clicked by the users. For the front, there is a 20-megapixel shooter with Sony IMX376 sensor and LED flash.
The Xiaomi Mi 6X is backed by a 3010 mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s latest MIUI. Interestingly, this is Xiaomi’s first smartphone that ditches 3.5mm audio jack in favour of USB Type-C port. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. On the connectivity front, it supports, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, dual-SIM, GPS and USB Type-C port.
