The Xiaomi Mi 5S which was launched last year in China has now been spotted on GFXBench benchmarking website with the Android Nougat 7.1.1 operating system. This simply implies that the company is, perhaps, testing the latest software and may release the same for the devices soon. In China currently, the Xiaomi Mi 5S 3GB variant is priced at 1999 Yuan (approximately Rs 19,932), while the Xiaomi Mi 5S 4GB variant is priced at 2299 Yuan (approximately Rs 22,925).
The specs in the GFX listings are the same which were revealed at the launch time except now it shows Android 7.1.1 Nougat in the Operating System section. The device was originally launched with Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8 operating system.

Naming the specs, the Xiaomi Mi 5S features a 5.15-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with brightness up to 600 nits and is powered by 2.15 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor and Adreno 530 GPU coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM. The dual SIM based smartphone has a 3200 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 technology. It features a ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which is placed below the phone’s display. The sensor recognizes fingerprints in a fraction of a second.
The Xiaomi Mi 5S boasts a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX378 1/2.3-inch sensor, PDAF and a 4-megapixel front facing camera with 2um pixels, f/2.0 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens, 1080p video recording. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS, NFC and USB type C. The device measures 145.6 x 70.3 x 8.25 mm and weighs 145 grams.
