Blu has announced the roll out of Windows 10 Mobile update for the BLU Win HD LTE smartphone in India. The BLU Win JR LTE, which was launched along with the Win HD LTE, will also receive the update some time later this year.
Since the update is being rolled out over-the-air, it may take some time before it comes to your device. If your device has not got the update yet, you can also manually check for the update by going to Settings ->About Phone -> Software Update.
BLU Win HD LTE and BLU Win JR LTE were launched in India for Rs 7,999 and Rs 5,999 respectively. However, both the BLU Win JR LTE and Win HD LTE prices were reduced by up to Rs 3,000, a few days after launch.
The BLU Win HD LTE features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS OGS display offering 294 ppi pixel density. It comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 2 megapixel front camera. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery. Connectivity wise, it supports 2G, 3G 4G/ LTE, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB, FM Radio and GPS. The dimensions of the phone is 145 x 72 x 8.2 mm.
The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core Processor and 1GB of RAM. Its come with 8GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB through a micro SD card. The dual sim phone now runs on Windows Phone 10 and has Adreno 306 GPU for graphics.
