Spice recently launched one more smartphone under the Android One program, Dream Uno H for Rs 6,499. The most talked about feature of Spice Android One H is its support for Hindi for which you have to download Google Hindi input from the Play store.
The Spice Android One H has a 4.5 inch display with 480×854 pixels resolution. It is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat platform and being an Android One device it is most likely to get the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update as well. The operating system runs on a 1.3 GHz quad core Processor and 1 GB RAM combination. There is 4 GB in-built storage in the Spice Android One H which can be expanded by another 32 GB using a micro SD card.
The Spice Android One H offers a 1700 mAh battery. It has a 5 megapixel rear camera with auto focus feature while a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera is in its front. The rear camera also has HDR and panorama features. This dual SIM smartphone has 3G and WiFi as well.
Let’s first talk about the idea behind Android One program of Google. It plans is to provide the next 5 billion smartphone users in India with affordable yet feature packed phones.
Spice on its part has included one more element to Android One program, support for Hindi language. This move is aimed at bringing 300 million Hindi speaking people one step closer to using internet and that too in their preferred language. Incidentally, the timing of the launch is coinciding with the announcement of India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision for bringing every Indian on information highway.
