A Spanish smartphone manufacture, Weimei Mobile has unveiled a new smartphone, the Weimei We Plus for 289.99 EUR (approx Rs. 22,095). Interested customers can purchase the smartphone directly from company’s official website. It comes in silver and grey color variants. The company is expected to introduce this smartphone at MWC 2016.
Weimei We Plus sports a sleek metal-body which made out of 89 percent aluminum and features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720p) Super AMOLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core Cortex A53 processor, which is paired with good 3GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with WeOS on top of it and get the power from 3150 mAh battery.
Weimei We Plus comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone flaunts an 13-megapixel rear camera (Samsung’s CMOS Image Sensor S5K3M2XXM5) with LED flash and a 5-megapixel CMOS selfie snapper on front. The camera features include Aperture Æ’2.0, Autofocus in 0.1 seconds, Professional Mode, Face Beauty Mode, HDR, Panorama, PicNote, Ultra Pixel, and FullHD Video Recording @1080p.
On the connectivity front, the device offers Dual SIM (Nano-SIM/ Micro-SIM), 4G, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi a/c/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and notably USB Type C. The Sensors include Brightness sensor, Proximity, Accelerometer, eCompass and Gyroscope. The handset measures 151.9x 74.6x 4.1mm and weighs 145 grams.
