Vodafone partners with Samsung to offer cashback on select smartphones

Vodafone customers, both existing and new, can purchase Samsung smartphones including Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy 7 Nxt and Galaxy J7 Max to avail the cashback.

Vodafone India has partnered with Samsung to offer cashback of Rs 1,500 on select smartphones. Vodafone customers, both existing and new, can purchase Samsung smartphones including Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy 7 Nxt and Galaxy J7 Max to avail the cashback.

Under this offer, prepaid customers have to recharge with Rs 198 pack per month for 24 months. The pack offers unlimited voice calls and 1GB of data per day. Or else one can do any other recharge cumulating toRs 198 per month. For postpaid users, one can opt for any one of Vodafone Red Plans.

At the end of the first 12 months, users will receive a cashback of Rs 600 and after another 12 months, a cashback of Rs 900 respectively, thus making a grand total of Rs 1500. Further, the cashback will be credited to their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets.

This means, that Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro, which comes with a market operating price (MOP) of Rs 8490, will be available at an effective price of Rs 6,990. The Galaxy J7 Nxt will be available at an effective price of Rs 8,990, against its original price of Rs 10,490. The Galaxy J7 Max will be up for an effective price of Rs 15,400, against its MOP of Rs 16,900. The offer will be launched across different locations, later this month.

Speaking about the offer,Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director – Consumer Business, Vodafone Indiasaid, “We are incentivizing our customers to enjoy the Vodafone SuperNet 4G data strong network on some of Samsung’s most popular 4G Smartphones. With this partnering, we now offer cashback over the widest spectrum of 4G smartphones across various price points. This is in line with our strategy to democartise data and make 4G more accessible. Our offer with Samsung will encourage customers to buy/upgrade their smartphones for a richer voice and data experience.”
