Vodafone India has announced its partnership with Itel Mobiles to offer cashback on its latest A20 smartphone. Users will get a cashback of Rs 2,100, which brings down the price from Rs 3690 to Rs 1590.
Under this partnership, itel and Vodafone customers will have to buy the Itel A20 at Rs 3,690 and recharge with Rs 150 or more in a calendar month for 18 months. The recharge can be done either cumulatively or as a one-time recharge. At the end of 18 months, customers will receive a cashback of Rs 900. Further, users need to continue the same recharge for another 18 months to get the additional cashback of Rs 1,200. This makes the effective price of the A20 smartphone of Rs 1,590.
The bundled offer can be availed up to March 31, 2018. Users will receive the cashback in their M-Pesa wallets. Coming to the specifications, the Itel A20 comes loaded with a 4-inch WVGA display 800 x 480 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Processor along with Mali-400 MP2 GPU. The device is backed by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the device sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing camera. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and it is backed by a 1700mAh removable battery, which it claims to offer 5 hours of talk time on the 4G network. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Dual-SIM and Micro USB port.

This is not the first. Earlier, Vodafone partnered with Micromax to offer cashback of select smartphones including Bharat 2 Plus, Bharat 3, Bharat 4, Canvas 1 and Bharat 2 Ultra. After the cashback, the Micromax Bharat 2 Plus, which comes with a market operating price (MOP) of Rs 3,749, will come at an effective price of Rs 1,549. Similarly, Bharat 3 will come with an effective price of Rs 2,299 (MOP Rs 4499), Bharat 4 for Rs 2,799 (MOP Rs 4999) and Canvas 1 will come with an effective price of Rs 3,799 (MOP Rs 5999). The Bharat 2 Ultra comes at an effective price of Rs 999.
