Vivo Z1 Pro receives a new software update in India

Vivo Z1 Pro new firmware improves the stability of camera operations and optimises the photo effect in certain photo scenarios.

Vivo has now rolled out a new software update to its Z1 Pro users in India. The update brings new features along with general bug fixes and stability improvements.

The new update comes with version number 1.5.11 and it is 344.78MB in size and it also brings the newer security patch. This new firmware improves the stability of camera operations and optimizes the photo effect in certain photo scenarios. The update also optimizes the compatibility of the system and some third-party software as well as system power consumption.

In order to check for the latest update, users can go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. We would advise the users to have a good connection for the update.

Vivo Z1 Pro was launched in India earlier this month. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999 and 6GB RAM + 128GB is comes with a price tag of Rs 17,999.

The Vivo Z1 Pro is equipped with a 6.52-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is the first in the country that is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor along with Adreno 616 GPU. It is backed by a 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via card slot.

The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie, which is based on the company’s custom user interface, FunTouch OS 9.0. On the camera front, the device is equipped with a triple-camera setup with a combination of 16-megapixel primary lens along with an 8-megapixel lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, the company has added a 32-megapixel selfie camera that is placed in the display with the new punch-hole design.

The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it comes loaded with 18W support. It also features a fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. On the connectivity front, you get VoLTE, 5.0, WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, and port.
