Vivo launched its V15 Pro smartphone with world’s first 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera last month and now it has slashed the price of its two-month-old Vivo Y91 by Rs 1,000. The Vivo Y91 will thus be available for an asking price of Rs 9,990.
The Vivo Y91 was launched in January for a price of Rs 10,990 but can now be purchased for the new price of Rs 9,990 across Amazon, Vivo Store, Flipkart, Paytm and offline stores in India. The new price of the device makes the Y91 a decent competitor against the Galaxy A10, Galaxy M10, Realme C1 and Redmi Note 7.
Talking about its specifications, the Vivo Y91 features a 6.22-inch HD+ Halo FullView display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 Processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor as well as a face unlock feature as security options.
The smartphone has a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual rear camera setup with f/2.2 and f/2.4 Aperture lens respectively. The rear camera of the phone supports Face Beauty, Time-Lapse, HDR, and Portrait mode among other features. On the front, it sports an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Y91 runs on Funtouch OS 4.5, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed up by a 4030mAh battery. Connectivity options for the Vivo Y91 include a Dual Sim, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, FM Radio, and a Micro USB port.
