Vivo has now slashed the price of its Vivo Y83 Pro smartphone by Rs 1,000. The smartphone was launched in India for Rs 15,990 in August this year.
Now after the price cut of Rs 1,000, the Vivo Y83 Pro is currently retailing at a price of Rs 14,990 on Flipkart. However, the smartphone is still retailing at its original launched price of Rs 15,990 on Amazon.
The Vivo Y83 Pro is an upgraded version of theVivo Y83 which was launched in India for Rs 14,990 in May this year. The only difference is that the Y83 comes with a single rear camera, while the Y83 Pro comes with dual rear cameras. The Vivo Y83 Pro is available in Black, Nebula Purple and Gold colour variants.
Vivo Y83 Pro features 6.22-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) FullView 2.0 display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 270 ppi. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The memory can be expanded by up to 256GB with a microSD card.
The Vivo Y83 Pro has a dual-camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f2.2 + f2.4, HDR, Professional, Face Beauty, Time-lapse, Slow, Panorama, PPT, PDAF, Live Photos, Portrait Bokeh Mode. For the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera for video calling and selfies with F2.2, Face Beauty, HDR, Portrait Mode. The Vivo Y83, on the other hand, boasts 13-megapixel single rear camera with f/2.2 Aperture and LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
On the software front, it has Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS 4.0 operating system and a 3,260mAh battery. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
