Yesterday, we have reported that Vivo is planning to launch its new Y-series smartphone in China, which dubbed as Vivo Y7s. Now today the same phone has been made official in China. The phone has now listed with all the specification and pricing on Vivo China website. The smartphone is priced at 1798 yuan and sale will kick starts from July 20. The phone comes in two colour options- Wave blue and Sea Breeze.
Vivo Y7s features a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED Display that supports full HD+ (1080×2340) resolution with a waterdrop notch design and comes equipped with the photoelectric in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90 per cent and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card.
For the optics, it sports a 16-megapixel AI selfie camera. On the rear, it houses a triple camera setup with a combination of 16MP primary Sony IMX499 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Camera features include Professional mode, beauty mode, Portrait mode (double exposure), HDR backlighting, panorama mode, document correction and portrait light mode.
The smartphone comes equipped with 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 Chipset and it is backed up by a 4500mAh battery with dual-engine fast charging support. The Vivo Y7s runs on Funtouch OS 9.0, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 159.53×75.23×8.13mm and weigh 179 gram. The phone also has dedicated Jovi AI Smart Key.
Going through the above specifications, it looks like the Vivo Y7s is a rebranded version of Vivo S1 global variant launch in Indonesia yesterday with few of the changes in specifications, like New Vivo S1 has 4GB RAM and 32MP selfie camera, while Vivo Y7s has 6GB RAM and 16MP selfie camera. Rest of the specifications are exactly the same as Vivon S1 global variant, even the phone dimensions and weight.
