Vivo has reportedly slashed the prices of its two budget-centric smartphones, the Vivo Y71i and both the variants of Y81 in India. The smartphones now come at a starting price of Rs 7,990.
As per a tweet by a Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, the Vivo Y71i is now priced at Rs 7,990. To recall, the smartphone was launched in India in July this year at a price tag of Rs 8,990. This reflects a price cut of Rs 1,000.

Moving on, the Vivo Y81 3GB RAM variant is now available at a discounted price of Rs 10,990. The variant was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 12,990 and it received a price cut of Rs 1,000, which brought down the price to Rs 11,990. Lastly, the 4GB RAM variant of the Y81 comes at a price tag of Rs 12,490 against its original price of Rs 13,490.
Recollecting some key specifications, the Vivo Y71i comes with a 6.0-inch HD+ display coupled with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The phone is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It features an 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 3360mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo.
Moving to the Vivo Y81, it features a 6.2-inch HD+ display, MediaTek Helio P22 processor. The phone is backed by a 3GB/4GB of RAM coupled with 32GB/64GB storage. The phone features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 3260mAh battery, face unlock feature and Android 8.1 Oreo.
