Vivo Y67A with 4GB RAM gets TENAA certification

The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

A new unannounced Vivo smartphone housing the model number – Y67A, has been found listed on the Chinese certification website, TENAA. Apart from some image renders, the listing also carries major specifications of the device.

As per the TENAA listing, the Vivo Y67A has a 5.5 inch display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. It comes with 4GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage, 128GB expandable memory, a 8-megapixel rear camera which can snap photos of 13-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel front camera which can snap photos at 16-megapixel sensor and a 2,930 battery.

The phone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and the images reveal that it will come in Gold colour version. Connectivity options of the device include dual SIM, 4G-LTE, 4.0, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a 2.0 port. The phone is 153.8 mm tall, 75.5 mm wide and 7.55 mm thin and it weighs 154 grams, according to the TENAA listing. The phone also has Gravity sensors, distance sensors, light as per the TENAA listing.

There is no information about the price and the official launch of the device is expected soon as it has now been spotted on TENAA. As per rumors, the device is expected to launch around Mobile World Congress starting on 27 February to 2 March 2017. So, stay tuned with us for more details.

Last year, Vivo had launched Vivo Y67 in China at 1798 yuan (approximately Rs 17,795). Being a selfie smartphone, the Vivo Y67 flaunts a 16-megapixel front-facing camera module with LED flash. On it back, it has decent 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash. The Vivo Y67 has a metal unibody design and features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with of 267ppi. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor and ARM Mali T860 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up-to 128GB via a micro card.

The Vivo Y67 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a decent 3000 mAh battery. It also houses a fingerprint scanner embedded on its home button, which claims to unlock the device in just 0.15 seconds. Besides, the device supports Dual SIM (dual standby), LTE, (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and a Micro USB port. The handset measures 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.55 mm.
