Vivo is all set to launch its latest smartphone with a notch, known as Vivo V9. The company will unveil the phone at an event on March 23 and just ahead of launch, V9 has been spotted on Amazon revealing some key information.
The listing reveals that the smartphone will be available from March 23, 2018, at 3:00 PM with some special pre-book offers. The listing page also gives a glimpse of the upcoming smartphone and it confirms to sport an Apple iPhone X-like notch. The phone will come loaded with a dual-rear camera at the back and it features some AI features for the ‘Perfect Selfies’. Lastly, the listing further reveals that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Interestingly, the phone was recently spotted on company’s official website, revealing some key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. As per the listing,Vivo V9 will feature a 6.3-inchFull HD+ AMOLED Display with a screen Resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone will feature a bezel-less design with Apple iPhone X-like top notch. The notch, in this case, will house a front-facing camera and usual array of sensors. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor.
The device is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The Vivo V9 will be backed dual rear cameras with a combination of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel Sensors along with LED flash. For the front, there will be a 24-megapixel shooter with a Wide-Angle lens.
The rear camera features are Slow Motion, AI Face Beauty, Time-Lapse Photography, Live Photo, Portrait Bokeh Mode, Shot Refocus, Ultra HD, Professional Mode, AR Stickers, Smart Motion, Palm Capture, Gender Detection, PPT, Panorama, 4K video, Camera Filters. The front camera features are AI Face Beauty, Gender detection, AR Sticker, Face beauty video, Camera Filter, HDR. The smartphone will feature Face Unlock and there will be a fingerprint sensor as well.
The device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s own FunTouch OS 4.0 running on top of it. It will be backed by a 3260mAh battery with fast charging support. On the connectivity front, the Vivo V9 supports triple slot, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, dual SIM and Micro USB 2.0. The phone will be available in Pearl Black and Gold colour options. The handset measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and weighs 150 grams. It will come pre-loaded with Google, youtube, google play store, chrome, Gmail, google music, google duo, Play Music, Play Movies.
