Vivo V15 Pro is expected to be the successor to the V11 Pro which was launched in India last year.
Vivo has scheduled a launch event in India on February 20 in which the company is expected to launch a new smartphone with pop-up selfie camera. Vivo has started sending the media invite for the launch event to be held on the said date.
The invite, however, does not reveal the name of the smartphone to be unveiled at the event or any additional information. Vivo is expected to launch Vivo V15 series which includes the Vivo 15 and Vivo V15 Pro smartphones. It just shows that that the upcoming smartphone will feature a pop-up selfie camera. The invite shows a teaser line that reads, "There's a new pop-star in town."
The presence of pop-up front camera on the Vivo V15 series hints that both the Vivo V15 and Vivo V15 Pro smartphones will be featuring notch-less AMOLED screens. As per earlier reports, both smartphones will be equipped with in-display fingerprint scanners.
Vivo V15 Pro is expected to be the successor to the V11 Pro which was launched in India last year. The phone is likely to feature a triple-camera setup on the rear. In comparison, the Vivo V11 Pro came with a dual-camera setup on the back. It should be noted that the company launched the Vivo Nex as its first phone sporting a pop-up selfie camera last year in India.
As of now, nothing much about the specs of Vivo 15 and Vivo V15 Pro smartphones are known. We have to wait for some more days till the company officially announces the smartphones on February 20.
